The posting

Om ons Finance team verder te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een A–Y Boekhouder.

Je komt terecht in een dynamisch finance team van 18 collega’s die samen de verschillende VIB-onderzoekscentra ondersteunen op vlak van boekhouding, financiële opvolging en rapportering.

We zoeken een enthousiaste boekhoudprofessional die een eigen portefeuille van entiteiten beheert, ownership neemt over dossiers en graag initiatief neemt om zich verder te ontwikkelen naarmate hij/zij verder groeit in de rol.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Boekhouder ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse boekhouding van meerdere entiteiten. Je:

  • beheert zelfstandig de boekhouding van A tot Y
  • verwerkt en controleert aankoopfacturen
  • stelt verkoopfacturen op en bewaakt een correcte opvolging
  • controleert en verwerkt bankverrichtingen
  • volgt debiteuren op
  • staat mee in voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen
  • bereidt btw-verplichtingen voor en zorgt voor een correcte indiening van: periodieke btw-aangiftes intracommunautaire listings klantenlistings
  • identificeert opportuniteiten om processen efficiënter te maken en neemt initiatief om verbeteringen door te voeren

Afhankelijk van de behoeften binnen het team neem je daarnaast een actieve rol op in projecten en evolueer je op termijn naar een rol waarbij je collega’s ondersteunt en adviseert binnen jouw expertisegebied.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit, Handelswetenschappen of gelijkwaardige opleiding
  • Je hebt idealiter 3-5 jaar relevante ervaring in een A-Y boekhoudfunctie
  • Je bent enthousiast en leergiering, en kijkt ernaar uit om je boekhoudkundige expertise verder te verdiepen binnen VIB
  • Je werkt autonoom en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor jouw dossiers
  • Je zoekt proactief naar oplossingen bij complexe dossiers
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en met oog voor kwaliteit
  • Je communiceert professioneel met diverse interne stakeholders en werkt graag in teamverband
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van Excel, ervaring met ERP-systemen en Microsoft Dynamics is een plus.
