The posting

Voor een grote en internationaal actieve vzw in Gent zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Boekhouder A-Y die zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid kan opnemen over een eigen portefeuille van entiteiten.

Je komt terecht binnen een professionele finance-afdeling bestaande uit 18 collega's die samen verschillende entiteiten ondersteunen op het vlak van boekhouding, financiële opvolging en rapportering.

De organisatie is actief binnen een maatschappelijk relevante en internationale omgeving en telt meer dan 1.500 medewerkers. Als Boekhouder krijg je ownership over je eigen dossiers en combineer je de dagelijkse boekhouding met afsluitingen, btw-verplichtingen en financiële opvolging.

Daarnaast krijg je de nodige ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen. Naarmate je de organisatie en dossiers beter leert kennen, kan je bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden opnemen, meewerken aan projecten en verder uitgroeien tot een inhoudelijk aanspreekpunt binnen jouw expertise.

Als Boekhouder ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse boekhouding van meerdere entiteiten. Concreet sta je onder andere in voor:

  • Het zelfstandig beheren van de boekhouding van A tot Y
  • Het verwerken en controleren van aankoopfacturen
  • Het opmaken en opvolgen van verkoopfacturen
  • Het controleren en verwerken van bankverrichtingen
  • De opvolging van openstaande klanten en debiteuren
  • Het meewerken aan maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Het voorbereiden en indienen van periodieke btw-aangiftes
  • Het opmaken van intracommunautaire listings en klantenlistings
  • Het bewaken van een correcte en tijdige financiële verwerking
  • Het detecteren van mogelijkheden om bestaande financiële processen efficiënter te organiseren
  • Het actief meewerken aan financeprojecten en verbetertrajecten
  • Het op termijn ondersteunen en adviseren van collega's binnen jouw expertisegebied
  • Je hebt voldoende ervaring om een boekhouding zelfstandig van A tot Y te beheren
  • Je bent vertrouwd met btw-verplichtingen en periodieke afsluitingen
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd en neemt verantwoordelijkheid over je eigen dossiers
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en zoekt proactief naar oplossingen
  • Je neemt graag initiatief en denkt mee over mogelijke verbeteringen
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega's en communiceert professioneel met verschillende interne stakeholders
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Je beschikt over een goede kennis van Excel
  • Je bent vertrouwd met ERP-systemen; ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics is een pluspunt
