Het bedrijf

Je komt terecht bij een internationaal productiebedrijf dat al vele decennia meedraait en wereldwijd actief is in meer dan negentig landen. Het bedrijf is nog steeds in handen van de oprichtende familie en bereidt zich stilaan voor op een generatiewissel, wat de betrokkenheid en de familiale cultuur alleen maar versterkt. Financieel staat de organisatie zeer sterk: ook moeilijkere periodes werden de voorbije jaren probleemloos doorstaan dankzij flexibiliteit en een gezonde marktpositie.

Jouw functie

Als boekhouder maak je deel uit van een team van vier collega's en sta je in voor een brede, afwisselende "A tot Y" boekhouding, waaronder onder meer:

  • Boeken van aankoopfacturen en bankverrichtingen
  • Opmaak van BTW aangiftes, ook voor buitenlandse entiteiten
  • Voorbereiden van betalingen aan leveranciers
  • Ondersteuning bij maand, kwartaal en jaarafsluitingen
  • Algemene back-up van je collega's binnen het team

Op termijn is er ruimte om je takenpakket verder uit te breiden, bijvoorbeeld richting debiteurenbeheer en kredietverzekeringen. Door de internationale werking van het bedrijf krijg je bovendien een boeiende, leerrijke kijk op boekhouding in meerdere landen, in een productieomgeving met veel verschillende producten en processen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een eerste relevante ervaring in boekhouding, een drietal jaar is een goede richtlijn
  • Een bachelor in een relevante richting is een pluspunt, maar een sterke praktijkervaring weegt minstens even zwaar door
  • Je bent zelfstandig en assertief, denkt kritisch mee en durft je mening te onderbouwen
  • Je gaat vlot om met vertrouwelijke informatie en bent discreet
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels
  • Je hebt een groot leervermogen en staat open om mee te evolueren met een functie die blijft groeien
