Stichting MK Ateliers Amsterdam Zomerweekend: Vrij kleien Afdeling: 1 en 2 augustus , Zomerweek Dit zomerweekend is het moment om met je handen in de klei nader tot jezelf te komen. Of je gaat verder werken aan stukken waar je al mee bezig bent, of je staat juist op het punt een nieuw werk te ontwikkelen. Samen met de docent (en soms ook met de andere cursisten) ga je op zoek naar welke materialen en strategieën je gaan helpen om verder te komen. Met beginnende handvormers kijken we naar technische ontwikkeling, met ervaren bouwers naar verdieping. De docent bereidt opdrachten voor maar je bent ook welkom om geheel naar eigen inzicht vrij te werken. In deze twee dagen werken we allemaal in eigen inspiratie naar een eigen opdracht en eindresultaat toe. Na dit kleiweekend worden de werken biscuitgebakken. Op een middag in september of oktober komen we dan weer bij elkaar om de werken te glazuren. Na de tweede brand kun je je werkstuk weer ophalen. (De datum van de glazuurmiddag zullen we tijdens het weekend afstemmen.)) Wat heb je nodig voor de zomerweek Vrij kleien ? - Een schetsboekje om inspiratie in te bewaren en schetsen in te maken - voorwerpen uit je omgeving met een interessante structuur of textuur (om afdrukken mee te maken: denk aan schelpen, keukengerei, textiel etc) - schone beelden ter inspiratie (juist niet van keramische objecten!)) Inclusief: materiaalkosten en lunch. Exclusief: koffie/thee. Welkom Wij zijn MK Ateliers, centrum voor kunsteducatie aan de MauritsKade 24 in Amsterdam. Wij hebben meer dan 70 verschillende cursussen, workshops en opleidingen in de vrije en toegepaste beeldende kunsten.
