Mobiel In en om de historische Brabantse stad Breda wordt volop gebouwd. Met het rijke verleden als basis wordt ingezet op de ambitieuze ontwikkeling van een gastvrije en grenzeloze stad in een park. Een stad waarin het goed wonen en werken is, als een belangrijke kwaliteit die de basis vormt voor de vele opgaven, in en buiten het centrum. De stad is onderdeel van het Van Gogh Nationaalpark (i.o.) en werkt aan een duurzame stad, sterk verbonden met haar buitengebied en met de vitale dorpen eromheen. Breda is een dynamische gemeente, met grote verdichtingsopgaven in de binnenstad. Na de realisatie van het internationale HSL-station, worden de komende jaren onder andere de gebieden Crossmark, Gasthuisvelden en 't Zoet ontwikkeld tot een hoog stedelijke, dynamische en aantrekkelijke omgeving met veel woningen, groen, water en behoud van waardevolle identiteitsdragers. Veel projecten zijn in de afgelopen jaren in nauwe samenwerking met de Adviescommissie Omgevingskwaliteit Breda (voorheen Commissie Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit) tot stand gekomen. Zij adviseert het college van burgemeester en wethouders sinds 2009 op het gebied van landschap, architectuur, stedenbouw, welstand en erfgoed. De commissie heeft een tweeledige rol: - ze is voor bouwplannen adviseur van het college op basis van het welstands- en erfgoedbeleid; - ze is bij zowel bouwplannen (gebouwen en buitenruimte) als gebied- en beleidsontwikkelingen gesprekspartner voor de ambtelijke organisatie en initiatiefnemers. De commissie bestaat uit vijf onafhankelijke deskundige leden met verschillende specialisaties. De commissie wordt bijgestaan en ondersteund door ambtelijke adviseurs en een ambtelijk secretariaat. Door het aflopen van de benoemingstermijn van commissieleden ontstaan met ingang van 1 januari 2027 twee vacatures voor: Leden Adviescommissie Omgevingskwaliteit Leden beoordelen op basis van hun professionele expertise en ervaring de plannen voor de gemeente Breda. ...
