Als bouwinspecteur ben jij degene die erop toeziet dat dit veilig en volgens afspraak gebeurt. Je bezoekt bouwplaatsen, voert gesprekken met aannemers, ontwikkelaars en adviseurs en beoordeelt of werkzaamheden voldoen aan vergunningen, bouwveiligheidsvoorschriften en wettelijke eisen. Zo draag je direct bij aan een veilige, gezonde en leefbare omgeving. Daarom wil je werken als Bouwinspecteur - Je wilt werken aan uitdagende bouwconstructies. - Je houdt van afwisselend werk en werkomgeving (thuis, kantoor en op locatie). - Je wilt een baan met veel vrijheid en flexibiliteit. Dit ga je doen Als bouwinspecteur werk je aan complexe bouwprojecten. Je houdt toezicht op de uitvoering van bouwwerken en beoordeelt of deze voldoen aan verleende vergunningen, bouwveiligheidsplannen, het Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving (Bbl) en overige wet- en regelgeving. Je voert inspecties uit op locatie. Jij werkt geen checklist af, maar signaleert en gaat in gesprek met opdrachtgevers, aannemers en adviseurs. Wanneer wordt afgeweken van de gestelde eisen weet jij het gesprek aan te gaan en waar nodig weet je te handhaven. Daarbij maak je zorgvuldige afwegingen tussen veiligheid, regelgeving en maatschappelijke belangen. Je werkt nauw samen met vergunningverleners, juristen, constructeurs en toezichthouders. Hierdoor heb je niet alleen oog voor de technische kant van bouwen, maar ook voor de bestuurlijke context waarin projecten worden gerealiseerd. Daarnaast kun je worden ingeschakeld voor inspectiewerkzaamheden bij de Tata Steel. Je draagt bij aan het overgangsproces van kolen naar waterstof, een toonaangevende ontwikkeling in Nederland.
