In overleg met afdelingen, de opdrachtgever en projectteamleden creëer of stuur je het ontwerp. Een afwisselende en betekenisvolle baan! Dit ga je doen Als engineer draag jij bij aan het voorbereiden, begeleiden en afronden van verbouwingsprojecten, nieuwbouwprojecten en lange termijn onderhoudsprojecten in het UMC Utrecht. De komende jaren staan er flink wat projecten op het programma, waarbij je in verschillende rollen - engineer of adviseur - kan worden ingezet. De boeiende omgeving van het UMC Utrecht zorgt ervoor dat de opdrachten erg divers zijn. Van kleine verbouwingen tot grotere projecten. In jouw rol creëer jij, afhankelijk van de grootte van het project, het bouwkundig ontwerp of adviseer je externe ontwerpers. Dit doe jij in nauwe afstemming met de betrokken afdelingen, vertegenwoordigers van de opdrachtgevers en de projectleider. Daarnaast doe je vanuit jouw rol proactief verbetervoorstellen op het gebied van toe te passen materialen, functionaliteit en systemen. Je hebt een regierol richting externe partijen en bent verantwoordelijk voor de inspectie op de uitvoering en oplevering van werken. Tot slot is het als engineer bouwkunde belangrijk dat je zorg draagt voor heldere communicatie richting gebruikers en dat de overlast van de werkzaamheden tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Het werk in het ziekenhuis heeft namelijk de grootste prioriteit en moet gewoon door kunnen gaan.
