Als projectmanager data centers ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de volledige begeleiding van bouwprojecten in deze technisch uitdagende sector. Je werkt aan nieuwbouw- en renovatieprojecten waarbij je fungeert als schakel tussen de opdrachtgever, het ontwerpteam, aannemers en installateurs. Jouw rol is cruciaal: jij zorgt ervoor dat alle partijen op één lijn zitten en dat het project volgens afspraak wordt opgeleverd. Je begint vaak al in de ontwerpfase, waarbij je meedenkt over de haalbaarheid en uitvoerbaarheid van plannen. Je stelt programma's van eisen op, begeleidt het selectieproces van aannemers en zorgt voor heldere contracten. Tijdens de uitvoering ben je regelmatig op de bouwplaats te vinden. Je houdt toezicht op de voortgang, bewaakt de planning en het budget, en lost knelpunten op voordat ze problemen worden. Daarnaast organiseer je bouwvergaderingen, stuur je de communicatie tussen alle betrokken partijen en rapporteer je aan de opdrachtgever. Wat deze functie bijzonder maakt, is de technische complexiteit van data centers. Deze gebouwen stellen hoge eisen aan klimaatbeheersing, energievoorziening, beveiliging en brandveiligheid. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alle installaties perfect op elkaar aansluiten en dat het gebouw voldoet aan de strenge eisen die de sector stelt. Je werkt nauw samen met specialisten op het gebied van elektrotechniek, koeling en IT-infrastructuur. Naast de uitvoering houd je je ook bezig met risicomanagement en kwaliteitscontrole. Je signaleert tijdig waar zaken mis dreigen te gaan en schakelt snel om oplossingen te vinden. Ook na oplevering blijf je betrokken: je begeleidt de nazorgfase en zorgt ervoor dat eventuele gebreken worden hersteld. Doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn volop aanwezig.
