Over de functie: Voor onze opdrachtgever in Geleen en Maasbracht zijn wij op zoek naar brandwachten en veiligheidswachten. Jij bent hierbij verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid van jouzelf en andere medewerkers. Jij houdt toezicht bij brandgevaarlijke werkzaamheden en let op of iedereen zich aan de regels houdt. Je signaleert gevaar bij onveilige situaties en je weet hoe je moet handelen bij calamiteiten. Het team waarmee jij samenwerkt, weet dat ze op jou kunnen rekenen als het gaat om hun veiligheid.

Jouw werkdag ziet er ongeveer zo uit: Voordat je begint met werken, meld jij je bij de opdrachtgever, die jou de nodige aanwijzingen geeft over de uit te voeren werkzaamheden. Jij haalt de werkvergunningen op en gaat naar de werklocatie. Hier voer je een Last Minute Risico Analyse uit (LMRA) waarna de medewerkers kunnen starten. Jij let er vervolgens op dat iedereen zich aan de regels houdt en de procedures naleeft. Mocht er iets mis gaan, ben jij degene die ingrijpt. Je leidt de medewerkers naar de evacuatieplek en stelt alle partijen op de hoogte.

De werkzaamheden kunnen zijn:

- Een beginnende brand bestrijden; - Het verlenen van EHBO; - Het verrichten van gas- en zuurstofmeting; - Beoordelen van toegangsroutes en vluchtroutes; - Het ondersteunen bij incidenten; - Uitvoeren van brandpreventie controles; - Bij brand ontruim je gebouwen; - Bij gevaar of calamiteiten het waarschuwen van betrokken partijen;
