Jobinhoud

  • Je bestrijdt branden en ontploffingen
  • Je redt mensen uit gevaarlijke situaties en beschermt hun eigendommen
  • Je zorgt voor de logistieke ondersteuning van gespecialiseerde reddingsacties
  • Je helpt bij het bestrijden en opruimen van milieuvervuiling en ondersteunt de gespecialiseerde ploegen bij incidenten met gevaarlijke stoffen.
  • Je werkt mee aan diverse technische opdrachten
  • Je neemt deel aan oefeningen, opleidingen en bijscholingen en je houdt je conditie op peil

De kandidaten dienen op de uiterste inschrijvingsdatum, zondag 11 oktober 2026, te voldoen aan volgende voorwaarden:

  • Belg zijn
  • een gedrag hebben dat in overeenstemming is met de eisen van de beoogde betrekking. De kandidaat bezorgt een uittreksel uit het strafregister dat afgeleverd dient te zijn binnen een termijn van drie maanden voorafgaand aan de uiterste datum voor het indienen van de kandidaturen.
  • de burgerlijke en politieke rechten genieten
  • in orde zijn met de dienstplichtwetten
  • houder zijn van rijbewijs B
  • ten minste 18 jaar oud zijn

Enkel kandidaten die ten laatste op de dag van de mondelinge proef het FGA basiskader voorleggen, mogen aan het examen deelnemen.

Een FGA behalen doe je door proeven af te leggen bij een erkend opleidingscentrum. Meer info hierover kan je online vinden: https://brandweer.be/nl/federaal-geschiktheidsattest .

Aandachtspunten bij het FGA:

  • Je kan meteen inschrijven voor een volgende FGA als je niet geslaagd bent (tenzij je niet bent komen opdagen zonder geldige reden)
  • Je kan deelnemen aan alle proeven, ook als je voor de eerste niet geslaagd bent, en krijgt dan een vrijstelling voor de proeven waarvoor je wél geslaagd bent
  • Je hoeft geen competentietest meer af te leggen als je een diploma of studiegetuigschrift van het zesde of zevende jaar middelbaar onderwijs hebt.
  • Een rijbewijs heb je nog steeds nodig om te solliciteren, maar je hoeft het niet voor te leggen als je je FGA gaat behalen.
