Ben jij een Support Engineer met ervaring in live broadcasting en interesse in een dynamische mediaomgeving?

Voor een toonaangevende organisatie binnen de media- en audiovisuele sector zijn we op zoek naar een Support Engineer Media met een sterke interesse in technologie, audiovisuele systemen en de mediawereld.

Als Support Engineer Media sta je midden in het productieproces. Je ondersteunt journalisten, redacteurs, regisseurs en andere medewerkers wanneer zij technische problemen ondervinden. Je zorgt ervoor dat technische incidenten zo snel mogelijk worden opgelost, zodat radio-, televisie- en nieuwsproducties zonder onderbreking kunnen doorgaan.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische omgeving waarin live-uitzendingen, nieuwe technologieën en technische uitdagingen deel uitmaken van de dagelijkse praktijk.

Role

Je biedt first-line technische ondersteuning aan productiemedewerkers binnen verschillende redactieteams.

Je ondersteunt de technische apparatuur en infrastructuur die wordt gebruikt door radio-, nieuws- en televisieteams.

Je analyseert technische incidenten en lost deze waar mogelijk zelfstandig op.

Wanneer bijkomende expertise nodig is, schakel je de juiste technische specialisten in.

Je neemt een coördinerende rol op bij complexe technische problemen en volgt deze op tot de dienstverlening volledig is hersteld.

Je werkt mee aan technische projecten, waaronder:

  • nieuwe studio's;
  • broadcastsystemen;
  • opnameapparatuur;
  • audiovisuele infrastructuur.

Je test nieuwe systemen en apparatuur en rapporteert over je bevindingen.

Je documenteert technische oplossingen, procedures en troubleshootingprocessen.

Je geeft opleidingen en begeleiding aan eindgebruikers.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen de technology-afdeling en met verschillende media- en redactieteams.

Profile

Een bachelor- of masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in een technische richting zoals Industriële Ingenieurswetenschappen, Computerwetenschappen of een gelijkwaardige opleiding.

Een audiovisuele opleiding in combinatie met voldoende kennis van IT en elektronica is eveneens relevant.

Minstens 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring binnen de mediasector.

Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een broadcastomgeving of met audiovisuele technologie.

Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in het bedienen en/of coördineren van een technische omgeving.

Ervaring met audio-, video- en montagesoftware is een pluspunt.

Ervaring met het werken met mediafiles is een pluspunt.

Goede kennis van Windows.

Kennis van audio- en/of video-opnameapparatuur, zoals microfoons, mengpanelen en videocamera's, is een pluspunt.

Kennis van macOS is een pluspunt.
