Als pedagogisch medewerker in de kinderopvang begeleid je groepen kinderen op het kinderdagverblijf , de buitenschoolse opvang (BSO) , naschoolse opvang (NSO) of in de peuterspeelzaal . Je creeert een warme en veilige sfeer , zodat kinderen zich geborgen voelen en zichzelf kunnen zijn. Je volgt nauwkeurig de ontwikkelingen van zowel individuele kinderen als de groep, waarbij jouw oplettendheid en alertheid onmisbaar zijn. Bij signalen van zorg stem je dit af met ouders , collega's of een deskundige , en sta je ouders bij met vragen of advies. Je bedenkt en begeleidt creatieve , sportieve en educatieve activiteiten die passen bij de leeftijd en ontwikkeling van de kinderen, en draagt zo actief bij aan hun sociale , emotionele en cognitieve groei . Daarnaast zorg je voor een nette en veilige omgeving door het uitvoeren van lichte huishoudelijke taken en beheer van de groepsruimten .
