Als Buitendienstmedewerker riolering en wegen zorg je er samen met je collega's voor dat de openbare ruimte in de gemeente Oisterwijk optimaal functioneert. Van het oplossen van rioolverstoppingen tot het plaatsen van verkeersborden en ander straatmeubilair: jouw werk heeft direct impact op de dagelijkse leefomgeving van onze inwoners. Kortom, een uitdagende baan waarin je echt verschil maakt.

Wat ga je doen? Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden van rioleringen, het verhelpen van storingen en het realiseren van huisaansluitingen. Daarnaast draag je bij aan een veilige en goed onderhouden openbare ruimte. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

- Het aanleggen, onderhouden en repareren van rioleringsvoorzieningen.

- Het oplossen van verstoppingen en storingen aan het rioolstelsel.

- Het verzorgen en onderhouden van straatmeubilair, zoals verkeersborden, banken en andere voorzieningen in de openbare ruimte.

- Het bedienen en onderhouden van materieel en machines, zoals een rioolontstoppingsmachine en een hydraulische kraan.

- Het ondersteunen bij evenementen, bijvoorbeeld door het plaatsen van afzettingen, verkeersomleidingen en het uitvoeren van straatreinigingswerkzaamheden. Dit kan buiten reguliere werktijden plaatsvinden.

- Het meedraaien in consignatiediensten bij calamiteiten en voor gladheidsbestrijding.
