Bulldozerchauffeur Antwerpen Fulltime – 3 ploegensysteem

Waar kom je te werken? Als bullchauffeur (wiellader) bij VVM in de Antwerpse haven krijg je een sleutelrol binnen ons productieteam en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de teamleader productie. Je werkt in een hecht team van operatoren en bulldozerchauffeurs. Samen zorgen jullie voor een vlotte en veilige werking van ons productieproces.

Hoe zien jouw werkzaamheden er uit? Tijdens jouw shift ligt jouw eerste verantwoordelijkheid bij het binnenvoeren en stockeren van grondstoffen bij het lossen van schepen of vrachtwagens. Jij bent de start van ons productieproces: in onze grondstoffenhal stort je de juiste materialen in de juiste trechters.

Bepaalde grondstoffen, zoals hoogovenslakken, moeten eerst een droogproces ondergaan voordat ze in het productieproces terechtkomen. Op de kaai ben jij degene die deze materialen in de trechter stort, zodat ze droog kunnen worden toegevoegd. Voor deze taken voorzien wij een interne opleiding en werk je nauw samen met de collega-operator.

Daarnaast:

  • Orde en netheid zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
  • Je voert algemene onderhouds- en reinigingswerken uit en staat open voor alternatieve werkzaamheden.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, smeren, schoonmaken en bijtanken van de wiellader na elke shift.
  • Tijdens onderhoudsperiodes van de fabriek werk je mee met het onderhoudsteam en bedien je indien nodig andere toestellen, zoals een bobcat of heftruck.

Onze ideale kandidaat

  • A2-diploma in een technische richting.
  • Enkele jaren relevante werkervaring met een wiellader/bulldozer en beschikt over de nodige attesten.
  • Groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en focus op veiligheid.
  • Stressbestendig, collegiaal, communicatief en positief ingesteld.
  • Bereid je handen uit de mouwen te steken en soms stoffige of vuile werkzaamheden uit te voeren.
  • Goede beheersing van het Nederlands; kennis van Frans en Engels is een plus.
