Het treinverkeer groeit, de infrastructuur wordt vernieuwd en Europese ontwikkelingen stellen nieuwe eisen aan het spoor. Denk aan de invoering van ERTMS en het mogelijk maken van goederentreinen van 740 meter. Als business analist spoorgoederen help jij ProRail om hierop voorbereid te zijn. Je onderzoekt hoeveel capaciteit goederenemplacementen op de lange termijn nodig hebben en hoe deze capaciteit het beste gebruikt kan worden. Hiervoor werk je met data en modellen. Je vertaalt de uitkomsten naar begrijpelijke adviezen voor collega's en besluitvormers. Zo draag je bij aan veilig, betrouwbaar en duurzaam vervoer. Je krijgt de ruimte om het goederendomein goed te leren kennen. Ervaren collega's begeleiden je en delen hun kennis. Dan kun je sneller zelfstandig complexe vraagstukken oppakken. Op termijn kun je je verder ontwikkelen richting analyses van goederencorridors en het Goederen Capaciteit Model voor de lange termijn. - Je voert capaciteitsanalyses uit voor goederenemplacementen en vertaalt de resultaten naar heldere beslisinformatie en adviezen. - Je ontwikkelt het capaciteitsmodel voor emplacementen verder, onder meer met nieuwe databronnen, prognoses en informatie uit sensoren en slimme camera's. - Je ontwikkelt methoden en uitgangspunten voor analyses: welke gegevens zijn nodig, hoe bouw je een betrouwbaar model en welke conclusies kun je trekken? - Je verdiept je in logistieke processen en levert vakinhoudelijke input voor verbetering. - Je werkt samen met vervoerders, operators, havenbedrijven, verkeersleiding en infratechniek aan toekomstbestendige oplossingen voor emplacementen. - Je deelt kennis over goederenstromen en logistieke processen en ondersteunt projecten en collega's met jouw expertise. Daarbij zien we talent als basis en diversiteit als kracht om samen betere resultaten te behale...
