Sterke financiële inzichten maken het verschil in een projectgedreven organisatie. In deze rol ligt de impact niet alleen in rapportering, maar vooral in het sturen van projecten, het bewaken van marges en het ondersteunen van strategische beslissingen. De business controller staat dicht bij de business en vertaalt cijfers consequent naar richting en actie.

De organisatie is actief in een technische, multidisciplinaire omgeving waar projecten centraal staan en samenwerking tussen finance, operations en management cruciaal is. Duurzaamheid, lange termijnvisie en kennisdeling vormen al jaren vaste pijlers binnen de werking.

De business controller krijgt ownership over het volledige controllingproces en fungeert als financiële spilfiguur tussen projectteams en management. Naast analyse en opvolging is er een duidelijke rol in het verder uitbouwen van data-gedreven rapportering en het optimaliseren van financiële processen.

Business Controller - Functieomschrijving:

  • Financiële analyse en projectsturing door rendabiliteits-, kostprijs- en investeringsanalyses uit te voeren en projecten actief op te volgen op budget, voortgang, marges en forecast.
  • Business partnering op managementniveau waarbij directie, operations en sales ondersteund worden met onderbouwde financiële inzichten voor operationele en commerciële beslissingen.
  • Rapportering en systemen verder versterken via heldere managementrapporten, optimalisatie van Power BI dashboards en een actieve rol als key-user binnen het ERP-landschap.

Business Controller - Profiel:

  • Financiële achtergrond en ervaring opgebouwd via een masteropleiding en meerdere jaren relevante ervaring in controlling of corporate finance binnen een projectmatige context.
  • Sterk analytisch en businessgericht met affiniteit voor forecasting, pricing en projectfinanciën, en het vermogen om complexe data helder te vertalen naar beslissingsinformatie.
  • Communicatief en mature teamspeler die gestructureerd werkt, ownership neemt en zich vlot beweegt in een tweetalige (NL/FR) professionele omgeving.
