Als business controller speel je een sleutelrol in het optimaliseren van zowel financiële als operationele processen. Door te zorgen voor accurate rapportering, diepgaande analyses en strategische ondersteuning, draag je bij aan de verdere groei van de organisatie. De inzichten die voortkomen uit cijfers en een gerichte opvolging stellen het management in staat om doordachte beslissingen te nemen en gericht verder te werken aan het realiseren van de vooropgestelde bedrijfsdoelstellingen. In deze functie rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de CFO en werk je nauw samen met de verschillende stakeholders binnen de business.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket als business controller:

Rapportage & Analyse:

  • Ontwikkelen van uniforme financiële rapporten die een helder beeld geven van de financiële en operationele prestaties van de Business Unit. Daarnaast draag je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het budget- en forecastproces.
  • Strategische doelstellingen vertalen naar concrete en meetbare KPI’s en de resultaten nauwgezet opvolgen.
  • Instaan voor een tijdige en correcte rapportering aan het management, met respect voor de vooropgestelde deadlines.
  • Cijfers grondig analyseren om trends, risico’s en opportuniteiten in kaart te brengen en op basis daarvan aanbevelingen formuleren ter verbetering van de prestaties en efficiëntie.

Business Partnering:

  • Als financiële sparringpartner bied je ondersteuning aan managers bij het interpreteren van resultaten en het nemen van onderbouwde beslissingen. Daarnaast help je bij het opstellen van businesscases en voer je diepgaande financiële analyses uit, onder meer op het vlak van marges, prijszetting en kostenoptimalisatie.

Strategische Adviesrol:

  • Begeleiden van strategische projecten en uitvoeren van investeringsanalyses. Ook het ondersteunen bij de uitwerking van businessplannen en het uitvoeren van uiteenlopende ad-hocanalyses behoren tot het takenpakket. Bij nieuwe initiatieven en uitbreidingen denk je actief mee vanuit zowel financieel als strategisch perspectief.

Digitalisering & Procesoptimalisatie:

  • Op de hoogte blijven van de nieuwste digitale ontwikkelingen en een voortrekkersrol opnemen in het verder automatiseren en digitaliseren van processen. Daarbij wordt onder meer ingezet op de implementatie van RPA, AI en andere geavanceerde tools.
  • De efficiëntie van de organisatie verhogen door bestaande operationele rapportage- en controlestromen kritisch te evalueren, te optimaliseren en waar mogelijk verder te automatiseren.

De gezochte business controller:

  • Beschikt over een masterdiploma richting Economie, Bedrijfskunde of Handelsingenieur
  • Heeft minstens enkele jaren ervaring in business controlling
  • Beschikt over een zeer goede kennis Nederlands en Frans
  • Heeft kennis van Excel en bij voorkeur van SAP, QlikSense, Power BI en RPA/AI-tools BI
  • Werkt graag met deadlines en kan ook op drukke momenten het overzicht bewaren
  • Is analytisch, ondernemend en resultaat- en oplossingsgericht
  • Beschikt over een positieve mindset en is hands-on
