Niet de cijfers vertellen. Wel bepalen wat ermee gebeurt.

Voor een organisatie in Antwerpen die volop in transformatie zit, zoeken we een Business Controller die naast de CFO en de business staat.

De cijfers, analyses en reporting zijn er. Jouw rol gaat vooral over wat daarna komt: het verhaal achter de cijfers begrijpen en vertalen naar concrete acties.

Je gaat dus niet enkel afwijkingen analyseren, maar stapt naar Sales, Operations en Marketing om te begrijpen wat er écht gebeurt. Je denkt mee over investeringen, processen, rendement en ROI en durft ook kritisch te challengen wanneer een beslissing financieel niet klopt.

Je werkt rechtstreeks samen met CFO en CEO en krijgt een brede kijk op Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Data en Strategie.

De organisatie is volop in beweging. Niet alles ligt vast en er is veel ruimte om zelf ideeën aan te brengen en processen beter te maken.

De data is een middel, niet het doel.

Excel moet sterk zijn, Power BI is een plus. Belangrijker is dat je cijfers kunt vertalen naar inzicht, beslissing en resultaat.

En misschien het strafste: de ambitie is dat deze rol op termijn kan doorgroeien richting CFO.

Wie past hier?

Niet noodzakelijk degene met de mooiste titel op zijn CV.

Wel degene die al een stevige rugzak heeft in Business Controlling en Business Partnering en nu voelt:

"Ik wil dichter bij de business. Ik wil meer impact. Ik wil mee beslissen."

Je bent iemand die:

  • een P&L kan lezen én uitleggen;
  • sterk is in analyse, maar daar niet in blijft hangen;
  • graag met operationele mensen praat;
  • kritische vragen stelt;
  • een CFO of CEO durft challengen;
  • mensen kan meekrijgen;
  • ondernemend genoeg is om zelf dingen vast te pakken;
  • energie krijgt van verandering en niet van perfect afgelijnde processen.

Je hoeft niet alles te weten. Je moet wel de juiste vragen durven stellen.

Nederlands en Engels zijn belangrijk. Frans is mooi meegenomen, maar geen must.
