Voor een financieel sterke onderneming in de regio Bornem zijn we op zoek naar een Business Controller. Je komt terecht in een organisatie waar de voorbije jaren sterk werd geïnvesteerd in digitalisering, rapportering en procesoptimalisatie. Hierdoor krijg je de kans om je te focussen op wat écht telt: het analyseren van cijfers, ondersteunen van de business en bouwen aan de verdere groei van de organisatie.

In deze functie ben je de financiële sparringpartner van verschillende afdelingen. Je vertaalt financiële en operationele data naar bruikbare inzichten, detecteert opportuniteiten en adviseert het management bij strategische beslissingen. Dankzij jouw analytische mindset en kritische blik draag je rechtstreeks bij aan betere resultaten en efficiëntere processen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je ondersteunt verschillende afdelingen als financiële sparringpartner en adviseert hen op basis van heldere analyses.
  • Je analyseert omzet, marges, kosten en rendabiliteit en brengt de onderliggende oorzaken van afwijkingen in kaart.
  • Je stelt managementrapporteringen en dashboards op en vertaalt cijfers naar concrete aanbevelingen.
  • Je ondersteunt het budget- en forecast proces en volgt de financiële prestaties van de organisatie nauwgezet op.
  • Je werkt mee aan business cases en ad-hoc analyses ter ondersteuning van strategische beslissingen.
  • Je monitort KPI's en signaleert proactief risico's en opportuniteiten.
  • Je denkt actief mee over de verdere optimalisatie, digitalisering en automatisering van rapporterings- en controlling processen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne stakeholders en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Controlling Manager.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je behaalde je master in een economische/financiële richting of beschikt over relevante ervaring.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en weet financiële informatie te vertalen naar duidelijke business inzichten.
  • Je communiceert vlot met zowel financiële als niet-financiële stakeholders.
  • Je neemt initiatief, durft kritisch te challengen en denkt oplossingsgericht.
  • Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van Excel, ervaring met Power BI en SAP zijn een sterke troef.
  • Je hebt interesse in digitalisering, automatisering en procesverbetering.
