The posting

Voor een producent van buizen, koppelingen en toebehoren in Herentals, zoeken we een Business Controller.

Als business controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor de analyse, uitvoering en controle van alle financiële aspecten van de bedrijfsprocessen en bouw je mee aan het succesverhaal van de organisatie.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opstellen van budgetten;
  • Resultaten analyseren op basis van het budget, voorafgaande boekjaren en de forecast-doelstellingen;
  • Acties uitwerken en opvolgen om de financiële bedrijfsdoelstellingen op te volgen;
  • Meewerken aan financiële/operationele projecten en procesoptimalisatie;
  • Opvolgen van de financiële prestaties en tijdig actie ondernemen waar verbeteringen nodig zijn;
  • Voorstellen maken in het kader van financiële opportuniteiten en deze opvolgen;
  • Ad hoc analyses maken en deze resultaten presenteren. Jouw ad hoc analyses helpen mee nieuwe inzichten te verkrijgen;
  • Verantwoordelijkheid over de financiële maandafsluiting van omzet en voorraad;
  • Nauw betrokken bij interne en externe audits;
  • Voor bepaalde taken geef je ondersteuning aan de Credit Controller.

Het bedrijf zoekt iemand met dit profiel:

  • In bezit van een Masterdiploma in een financieel/economische richting en minstens 5 jaar ervaring, bij voorkeur in een productiebedrijf met internationale oriëntatie;
  • Daarnaast heb je ook een ruime ervaring in business planning;
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring m.b.t. budgetteren, forecasten, rapportering en je kan vlot aan de slag met rapporteringstools
  • Excel en PowerBI kennen geen geheimen voor jou;
  • Je hebt ervaring met het opzetten van financiële controle-processen zowel binnen als buiten het ERP-systeem;
  • Ervaring met projectmanagement is een pluspunt;
  • Je bent vloeiend in het Nederlands en hebt een goede beheersing van het Engels;
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, werkt accuraat en gestructureerd;
  • Verder heb je een hands-on mentaliteit en sterke interesse om je te verdiepen in de verschillende bedrijfsprocessen;
  • Je bent een proactieve probleemoplosser die initiatieven en verbetervoorstellen uitdraagt naar de rest van de organisatie;
  • Je bent een sterke sparring partner voor de afdelingsverantwoordelijkheden en de directie.
