Can we hook you up?Om onze groei verder te ondersteunen zoeken we een Business Controller die de financiële werking van de organisatie bewaakt en verder professionaliseert. Je komt terecht in een organisatie in beweging waar finance een belangrijke rol speelt in het ondersteunen van groei en strategische beslissingen.

Jobomschrijving

In deze rol combineer je sterke financiële expertise met een brede blik op de organisatie. Je zorgt ervoor dat financiële processen en rapportering betrouwbaar en gestructureerd verlopen, ondersteunt het management bij budgetopvolging en helpt de organisatie om financieel onderbouwde beslissingen te nemen.Daarnaast neem je een trekkende rol op in het versterken van governance en compliance binnen de organisatie. Je volgt relevante regelgeving op, werkt interne afspraken mee uit en zorgt ervoor dat de organisatie verder professionaliseert op dit vlak.Je werkt nauw samen met de CFO, stuurt het finance team aan en adviseert het managementteam. Je krijgt de ruimte om processen te verbeteren en structuur te brengen.Finance & controlling : Coördineren en bewaken van de financiële werking van de organisatieControleren en analyseren van de maandafsluitingOpstellen en opvolgen van budgetten samen met het managementteamAnalyseren van financiële resultaten en signaleren van afwijkingenUitbouwen van een gestructureerde budget- en rapporteringscyclusVerbeteren en structureren van financiële processen Business partner : Adviseren en challengen van management bij financiële beslissingenOnderbouwen van budgetten en investeringenVertalen van financiële inzichten naar duidelijke managementinformatie Compliance & governance : Opvolgen van relevante regelgeving voor de organisatieSignaleren van nieuwe verplichtingen en risico's (vb ESG, GDPR, klokkenluiderswetgeving)Mee uitwerken van interne afspraken rond compliance en governanceOpvolgen dat deze afspraken correct worden toegepast Team & samenwerking : Aansturen en ondersteunen van het finance teamNauw samenwerken met verschillende teams (sales, operations, HR)Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor financiële vragen binnen de organisatie

Master in een economische of financiële richting5 tot 10 jaar ervaring binnen finance, controlling, audit of consulting.Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een goed begrip van financiële processen :Ervaring met budgettering, rapportering en financiële analyse Kritisch kunnen analyseren van financiële cijfers en detecteren van afwijkingen Interesse in governance, compliance & regelgeving Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt initiatief en durft beslissingen challengen Je combineert strategisch inzicht met een hands-on mentaliteit
