Als Business Controller vorm je samen met je collega Business Controller, die zich focust op Sales, een sterk duodynamisch team. Jij neemt het financiële en operationele luik op je en ondersteunt het management door cijfers te analyseren, rapportages te bouwen en strategisch advies te geven. Deze rol combineert finance expertise, analytisch inzicht en bedrijfskundige feeling. Je bent een echte business partner: iemand die verder kijkt dan de cijfers en impact maakt op de hele organisatie.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Business partner rol

  • Opstellen en opvolgen van week-, maand- en jaarrapportages (sales, inkoop, operations, HR)
  • Uitwerken van een ABC-model voor de logistieke werking en opvolging van operationele processen (efficiëntie en capaciteitsplanning)
  • Ontwikkelen van een pricing tool en opvolging van organisatie-, klant- en marktspecifieke parameters
  • Uitvoeren van marge- en variantieanalyses op klantniveau
  • Opvolgen van transportkosten + dataondersteuning bij transportoptimalisaties en onderhandelingen
  • Opvolgen van containerkosten en opstellen van rapportering m.b.t. containerpoolbeheer
  • Vertalen van cijfers en analyses naar heldere managementrapporten
  • Cijfermatige doorvertaling van strategie, businessplannen en scenario-analyses
  • Voorbereiden van presentaties voor de Raad van Bestuur

Financiële rapportering

  • Analyse & opvolging van een correcte maand- en jaarafsluiting, incl. intercompany doorrekeningen
  • Opstellen van de geconsolideerde balans en resultatenrekening
  • Monitoren van budgetten en End-of-Year forecasts
  • Ondersteunen van cashflowopvolging, ageing rapportering en wisselkoersindekkingen

Budgettering & Forecasting

  • Opstellen van budget en forecast in samenwerking met andere afdelingen
  • Detecteren van kostenbesparingsmogelijkheden
  • Evalueren van financiële impact van strategische beslissingen

Procesoptimalisatie

  • Optimaliseren en standaardiseren van interne rapportageprocessen
  • Implementeren van nieuwe tools, dashboards en datacontroles
  • Verbeteren van datakwaliteit en controlemechanismen
  • Afstemmen met andere afdelingen voor vlotte en efficiënte workflows
  • Een master in finance, accounting, economie of gelijkwaardig
  • 3 tot 7 jaar ervaring in controlling
  • Een sterk analytisch vermogen en oog voor detail
  • Een proactieve houding en vlotte communicatiestijl
  • Kennis van Belgische fiscaliteit en boekhoudstandaarden
  • Doorgedreven kennis van Excel; kennis van Power BI is een mooie troef
