Business Controller (m/v/x) - vastgoed & bouwsector

Voor een groeiende onderneming actief binnen de bouw- en vastgoedsector is Robert Half op zoek naar een Business Controller (m/v/x).

Als Business Controller (m/v/x) maak je deel uit van het finance team op het hoofdkantoor in Oost-Vlaanderen. Je werkt nauw samen met de CFO, het management en de collega's binnen finance en accounting. Je komt terecht in een ondernemende organisatie met korte beslissingslijnen, waar initiatief en ownership sterk worden gewaardeerd.

In deze veelzijdige functie combineer je financial controlling en business controlling. Je bent betrokken bij de financiële opvolging van de verschillende activiteiten en projecten, van budgettering en forecasting tot cashplanning, projectanalyse en managementrapportering.

Je maakt deel uit van een finance team dat instaat voor de opvolging van een internationale portefeuille van vennootschappen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je ondersteunt het budget- en forecastproces en analyseert op maand- en kwartaalbasis de afwijkingen ten opzichte van het budget;
  • Je analyseert financiële resultaten en vertaalt deze naar duidelijke en relevante managementinformatie;
  • Je staat mee in voor de managementrapportering en de voorbereiding van rapporteringen voor het directiecomité en de raad van bestuur;
  • Je volgt de financiële performantie van vastgoed- en bouwprojecten op en vergelijkt actuals met budgetten;
  • Je ondersteunt de opvolging van CAPEX, kostenstructuren en projectrendabiliteit;
  • Je maakt cashflowanalyses, treasury-overzichten en cashplanningen op;
  • Je werkt mee aan investeringsanalyses, risicoanalyses en due diligence-trajecten;
  • Je ondersteunt de opvolging van financieringen en kapitaaltransacties;
  • Je fungeert als financiële sparringpartner voor de business en durft budgetten, marges en kostenstructuren kritisch in vraag te stellen;
  • Je ondersteunt de maand- en kwartaalafsluitingen;
  • Je bewaakt samen met accounting de kwaliteit en correctheid van de financiële gegevens;
  • Je neemt actief deel aan ad-hocprojecten, zoals procesoptimalisaties, nieuwe rapporteringen en de implementatie van financiële software en tools.

Jouw profiel

Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar een analytische en ondernemende professional die graag dicht bij de business staat. Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving met een hoog tempo en een brede scope.

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende profiel:

  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma in Accountancy, Finance, Handelswetenschappen, TEW, Economie of een gelijkaardige richting;
  • Je hebt een eerste relevante ervaring binnen audit, controlling of finance;
  • Je hebt idealiter 2 tot 5 jaar ervaring, bijvoorbeeld als auditor, senior auditor, assistant audit manager of controller;
  • Ervaring binnen vastgoed, bouw, projectbusiness of corporate finance is een plus;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Belgian GAAP en een basiskennis van IFRS;
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel en hebt affiniteit met rapporteringstools en financiële systemen;
  • Ervaring met ERP- of rapporteringstools zoals Adfinity, Bright Analytics, Sigma of Power BI is een troef;
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels;
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en kan complexe financiële informatie op een heldere en beknopte manier communiceren;
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, flexibel en stressbestendig;
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert eveneens goed binnen een team;
  • Je bent proactief, kritisch ingesteld en neemt graag initiatief.
