In deze sleutelpositie krijg je veel invloed op de financiële en operationele prestaties van een grote, projectgerichte businessunit. Als Business Controller werk je op het snijvlak van finance, operatie en strategie. Je maakt financiële prestaties inzichtelijk, ondersteunt het management bij belangrijke beslissingen en zorgt dat risico's en kansen tijdig op tafel komen. Met jouw kritische blik daag je projectverantwoordelijken en het management uit om betere resultaten te behalen. Je maakt deel uit van het Business Control-team en werkt nauw samen met een collega-controller. Daarnaast sluit je aan bij het managementteam van de businessunit. Hierdoor ben je niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor betrouwbare analyses en rapportages, maar heb je ook direct invloed op de koers en verdere professionalisering van de organisatie. Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Monitoren van projectvoortgang, budgetten, marges, meer- en minderwerk, cashflow en financiële risico's; - Ondersteunen en kritisch adviseren van projectmanagers; - Analyseren van onder meer productiviteit, omzet, uren, projectmarges en kostendekking; - Vertalen van financiële en operationele analyses naar concrete acties en adviezen; - Coördineren van de rolling forecast en het jaarlijkse budgetproces voor de businessunit; - Opstellen van scenarioanalyses en businesscases; - Beoordelen van tenders en contracten en signaleren van financiële en commerciële risico's; - Verbeteren van cashflow- en facturatieprocessen; - Ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van rapportages en dashboards; - Benutten van digitalisering, BI en AI om processen en besluitvorming slimmer in te richten; - Optreden als strategische sparringpartner voor het management en de projectorganisatie; - Bijdragen aan de verdere professionalisering van ...
