Onze klant is een internationale speler in de logistieke sector, actief bezig met een stevige transitie richting duurzamere operaties. Finance speelt daarin geen ondersteunende rol op de achtergrond, maar zit mee aan tafel wanneer er beslissingen vallen. De lijnen zijn kort, de cultuur is open en er is ruimte voor mensen die verder kijken dan het maandrapport.

De positie staat open en er is weinig tijd te verliezen: de organisatie zoekt iemand die snel mee kan, niet iemand die nog zes maanden ingewerkt moet worden.

Als je je vandaag afvraagt waarom jouw analyses ergens in een map verdwijnen zonder dat er iets mee gebeurt, is dat precies de reden om dit verder te lezen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Business Controller:

  • Je bouwt maandelijkse budgetten en forecasts op en vertaalt afwijkingen ten opzichte van de actuals naar concrete bijstuurvoorstellen voor het management, zodat er ook echt mee gedaan wordt.
  • Je bewaakt operationele en financiële KPI's, analyseert marges en maakt van ruwe data iets waar de beslissers in de organisatie daadwerkelijk mee verder kunnen.
  • Je werkt zij aan zij met operationele teams, stelt de vragen die anderen laten liggen en daagt collega's op een constructieve manier uit om scherper naar hun eigen cijfers te kijken.
  • Je stroomlijnt bestaande financiële processen en verbetert de manier waarop data door de organisatie beweegt.
  • Je onderbouwt strategische business cases met cijfermatige argumenten die mee richting geven aan de verdere groei van de organisatie.

  • Je beschikt over een master- of bachelordiploma in een economische of financiële richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een rol als (Business) Controller
