Voor een internationaal productiebedrijf in de regio Izegem met een sterke en stabiele marktpositie zijn wij op zoek naar een Business Controller. De organisatie beschikt over een moderne productieomgeving en maakt deel uit van een internationale groep met activiteiten in verschillende landen. Binnen deze functie kom je terecht in een omgeving waar finance en operations nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. Je vormt een belangrijke financiële schakel tussen de productieomgeving, verschillende operationele teams en het management. Vanuit jouw analyses geef je inzicht in de financiële prestaties en ondersteun je de business bij het nemen van onderbouwde beslissingen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Als Business Controller ben je de financiële sparringpartner van verschillende business units en projectverantwoordelijken. Je ondersteunt hen bij zowel strategische als operationele beslissingen en vertaalt financiële inzichten naar concrete acties.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de financiële opvolging van jouw business units, waaronder de periodieke rapportering, closingprocessen en het bewaken van de kwaliteit van de financiële data.
  • Je analyseert de maand en kwartaalresultaten, bespreekt deze met het management en formuleert aanbevelingen om de prestaties verder te verbeteren.
  • Je bewaakt de rendabiliteit van projecten en brengt financiële risico's en opportuniteiten proactief in kaart.
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande rapporteringen en dashboards zodat de business steeds beschikt over betrouwbare en bruikbare managementinformatie.
  • Daarnaast werk je actief mee aan verbeterprojecten rond rapportering, ERP systemen, Power BI en de verdere optimalisatie van financiële processen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma binnen een economische of financiële richting of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring opgebouwd binnen controlling
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en combineert dit met een hands on en ondernemende mindset.
  • Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van Excel. Ervaring met ERP systemen en Power BI is een troef.
  • Je bent een echte business partner die graag samenwerkt met operationele teams en het management.
