Als Business Controller maak je deel uit van het Group Controlling & Finance team en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Group Controller.

Je combineert een sterke financiële expertise met een goed begrip van de business. Dankzij jouw analyses, inzichten en kritische blik help je de organisatie om onderbouwde en toekomstgerichte beslissingen te nemen.

Wat ga je doen? Business partnering & performance

Je bent de financiële sparringpartner van de business en werkt nauw samen met operationele verantwoordelijken.

  • Je bouwt een diepgaand inzicht op in de business drivers en vertaalt deze naar bruikbare stuurinformatie.
  • Je challenge't budgetten, forecasts en business cases op aannames, opportuniteiten en risico's.

Je ondersteunt het management bij het opvolgen en verbeteren van prestaties aan de hand van KPI's.

Je vertaalt financiële inzichten naar concrete verbeteracties en businessvoorstellen. Budgettering & rapportering Je zorgt ervoor dat management en stakeholders steeds beschikken over heldere en betrouwbare inzichten.

  • Je ondersteunt en coördineert het budget- en forecastproces voor jouw business units.

Je stelt periodieke rapporteringen op rond P&L, balans, cashflow en KPI's.

  • Je analyseert afwijkingen en formuleert duidelijke aanbevelingen.

Je levert ad-hoc analyses ter ondersteuning van strategische beslissingen.

Impact op groepsniveau Je kijkt verder dan cijfers alleen en draagt actief bij aan de financiële gezondheid van de groep.

Je volgt investeringen en CAPEX-rapportering op.

  • Je ondersteunt de cashflowrapportering en analyseert financieringsbehoeften.
  • Je helpt rapporteringstools, processen en interne controles verder te optimaliseren.

Projecten & innovatie

Je werkt mee aan projecten die de organisatie klaarstomen voor de toekomst.

Je ondersteunt projecten rond investeringen, reporting tools, AI en procesautomatisering.

  • Je levert financiële en analytische inzichten voor strategische initiatieven.
  • Je draagt bij aan efficiënte, datagedreven en toekomstgerichte processen. Team Je werkt in een klein team, je werkt naast de Group Controller en onder de CFO. De drukste periode is gedurende de maanden oktober en november, dit heeft een impact op de mogelijkheid om verlof op te nemen.

Je hebt een masterdiploma in een economische of financiële richting, of gelijkwaardige ervaring.

Daarnaast breng je mee:

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring binnen controlling, business controlling of een gelijkaardige financiële functie
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen en BI-tools zoals Power BI
  • Kennis van CPM-tools is een plus
  • Sterke vaardigheden in Excel en data-analyse
  • Ervaring met Power Query en/of procesoptimalisatie is een mooie troef

Je voelt je thuis in een rol waarin cijfers en business samenkomen.

Je denkt kritisch mee en durft aannames, budgetten en business cases in vraag te stellen

  • Je vertaalt data naar heldere inzichten en concrete acties
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, gestructureerd en resultaatgericht

Je communiceert vlot met zowel financiële als operationele stakeholders

  • Je gaat discreet om met vertrouwelijke informatie
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk

Je haalt energie uit een omgeving waarin je niet alleen rapporteert, maar ook mee impact hebt op beslissingen, prestaties en toekomstige groei.
