The posting

Voor onze Logistiek-divisie zoeken we een gedreven Business Developer die verantwoordelijk

wordt voor de uitbouw van onze klantenportefeuille in de logistieke en productiesector. Je richt je

op het verkopen van geavanceerde Warehouse Management Systemen (WMS) die magazijnen en

productieomgevingen helpen hun operationele processen te optimaliseren.

De verkoopcyclus in deze sector is lang en complex, met een gemiddelde duur van 4 tot 8

maanden. Dit vraagt een salesprofessional die conceptueel kan verkopen, diepgaand de noden

van de klant analyseert en maatwerkoplossingen op maat van elk bedrijf uitwerkt. Je bent een

vertrouwenspartner voor je klanten, niet zomaar een verkoper.

Wat je gaat doen

  • Actief prospecteren naar nieuwe klanten in de logistieke sector: magazijnen, distributiecentra, productiebedrijven en 3PL-providers
  • Bestaande klantrelaties beheren en uitbouwen, van operationeel niveau tot C-level
  • Conceptuele WMS-oplossingen verkopen: geen standaardpakketten, maar op maat gemaakte systemen die naadloos aansluiten op de processen van elke klant
  • De volledige verkoopcyclus begeleiden: van eerste contact, needs analysis, procesanalyse en demo tot offerte, onderhandeling en contractsluiting
  • Samenwerken met het technische en implementatieteam om maatwerkoplossingen te realiseren
  • Markt- en concurrentie-analyses uitvoeren om kansen te identificeren

Jouw vaardigheden

  • Minimaal 3-5 jaar ervaring in B2B-verkoop, bij voorkeur in IT, logistieke software, supply chain
  • technology of gerelateerde sectoren
  • Ervaring met lange verkoopcyclussen (4-8 maanden) en conceptuele verkoop: je verkoopt geen
  • product, je verkoopt een oplossing op maat
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden: je begrijpt de logistieke processen van je klant en vertaalt dit

  • Uitstekende presentatie- en communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Zelfstandig en georganiseerd in het beheer van je pipeline en forecasting
