Voor een toonaangevende internationale speler gespecialiseerd in de inrichting van professionele leer-, werk- en ontmoetingsomgevingen zoeken wij een Business Development Manager Schoolmeubilair.

De Belgische onderwijssector staat voor belangrijke uitdagingen en evoluties. Scholen, hogescholen en universiteiten investeren steeds meer in moderne, flexibele en duurzame leeromgevingen die aansluiten bij nieuwe onderwijsmodellen en het welzijn van leerlingen, studenten en medewerkers.

In deze rol krijg je de kans om een sterk uitgebouwd aanbod van innovatieve inrichting- en huisvestingsoplossingen verder te introduceren binnen het onderwijslandschap. Je bouwt duurzame relaties uit met onderwijsinstellingen, detecteert opportuniteiten en begeleidt klanten doorheen het volledige commerciële traject.

We zoeken hierbij specifiek een kandidaat die de dynamieken van de publieke sector en/of onderwijssector begrijpt en zich vlot kan bewegen binnen complexe besluitvormingsprocessen.

Jobomschrijving

  • Je ontwikkelt actief nieuwe opportuniteiten binnen het onderwijslandschap in België.
  • Je bouwt een netwerk uit bij scholen, scholengroepen, hogescholen, universiteiten en relevante stakeholders.
  • Je analyseert de uitdagingen, behoeften en investeringsplannen van onderwijsinstellingen en vertaalt deze naar commerciële opportuniteiten.
  • Je begeleidt het volledige salesproces: van prospectie en behoefteanalyse tot offerte, onderhandeling en contractafsluiting.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met interne specialisten en projectteams om sterke voorstellen en klantgerichte oplossingen uit te werken.
  • Je volgt marktontwikkelingen, aanbestedingen en investeringsprojecten binnen onderwijsinstellingen op.
  • Je beheert en ontwikkelt een strategische salespipeline en rapporteert over commerciële resultaten en groeikansen.
  • Je bezoekt regelmatig scholen en onderwijsinstellingen verspreid over heel België.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Je hebt meerdere jaren ervaring in business development, accountmanagement of een vergelijkbare commerciële B2B-functie.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring binnen de publieke sector, onderwijssector of een omgeving met overheidsopdrachten en aanbestedingen.
  • Je begrijpt hoe besluitvorming verloopt binnen scholen, onderwijskoepels, publieke organisaties of andere complexe organisatiestructuren.
  • Ervaring of een bestaand netwerk binnen onderwijs is een sterke troef.
  • Je bent sterk in het ontwikkelen van nieuwe business en weet langdurige commerciële trajecten succesvol af te sluiten.
  • Je communiceert professioneel in het Nederlands en kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Frans.
  • Je bent bereid frequent onderwijsinstellingen over heel België te bezoeken.
  • Je werkt autonoom, proactief en resultaatgericht.
