Als Business Development Representative richt je je volledig op new business binnen de technische sector. Je onderzoekt welke bedrijven interessant zijn, zoekt uit wat er bij hen speelt en pakt vervolgens de telefoon. Je doel is niet om direct iets te verkopen, maar om het juiste gesprek op gang te brengen en een kwalitatieve afspraak in te plannen voor de accountmanager. Je krijgt daarbij verantwoordelijkheid over je eigen prospects en bepaalt mede waar de beste commerciële kansen liggen. Dus geen lijst met willekeurige telefoonnummers die je van boven naar beneden afwerkt: je bereidt je gesprekken voor en wilt begrijpen wie je tegenover je hebt. Wat ga je concreet doen? - Je brengt interessante potentiële klanten binnen verschillende technische sectoren in kaart; - Je onderzoekt bedrijven vooraf en bepaalt waar mogelijke aanknopingspunten liggen; - Je benadert beslissers telefonisch en voert het eerste commerciële gesprek; - Je achterhaalt welke personeelsvraagstukken er spelen en kwalificeert of er een interessante kans ligt; - Je plant afspraken in voor de accountmanager en zorgt voor een goede overdracht van het gesprek; - Je houdt je contacten, opvolging en resultaten zorgvuldig bij in het CRM.
