Omschrijving van de opdrachtgever: Gemeente Helmond wil een veerkrachtige, inclusieve en slimme stad zijn, met een sterke economie en duurzame leefomgeving. Om de grote opgaven slimmer, sneller en efficiënter te realiseren, zet de gemeente werken onder architectuur in als instrument. Waar dit vroeger vooral vanuit ICT werd benaderd, ligt de focus nu meer op de business: de producten en diensten voor inwoners, ondernemers en medewerkers. Je gaat aan de slag binnen een nieuwe rol: business domein architect, in eerste instantie gericht op het sociaal domein. Je helpt de gemeente bij het opstellen, onderhouden en toepassen van architectuurkaders, zodat de inrichting van organisatie en informatievoorziening goed aansluit op de ambities van de gemeente en de uitdagingen binnen het domein. Omdat de rol nieuw is, krijg je veel ruimte om deze zelf mee vorm te geven en architectuur écht op de kaart te zetten. Je werkt voor het sociaal domein, maar valt organisatorisch onder de Stafunit van de afdeling Informatievoorziening & Automatisering (IVA). Binnen de Stafunit bestaat het subteam Architectuur & Beleid uit een enterprise architect, thema- en domeinarchitecten, project- en programma-architecten en een strategisch adviseur informatiemanagement en -beleid.
