Business & Finance Controller -Focus on IT and Data & Analytics domains Vakgebied Financieel Economisch Business Controller - IT & Data & Analytics Employment type: Freelance preferred We are seeking a data-savvy and experienced Business Controller with a strong focus on Controlling for IT and Data & Analytics. You will quickly grasp ongoing activities during handover, connect the dots across complex topics, and confidently interact with stakeholders at all levels. - Business Controlling for IT Run and Change, Data & Analytics: Understand and explain actuals versus budget for IT and analytics spend; analyse root causes of underrun and overrun; support consolidation and forecasting specific to these areas. - Cost deep dives & spend monitoring: Prepare detailed cost deep dive documentation; create overviews and dashboards for spend versus budget; translate insights into actionable recommendations. - FTE monitoring: Track and analyse FTE allocations and trends to ensure workforce-related spend aligns with budget and objectives. - Financial products: Apply affinity with and basic understanding of banking products (including business loans and mortgages) and their impact on financial statements. - Finance controlling: Manage accruals, adjustments, cost allocation and other core finance controlling activities. - Capex and Opex: Classify and track expenditures accurately with strong knowledge of Capex and Opex definitions. - Transformation support: Support transformation initiatives, process improvements and change management within controlling functions. - Stakeholder engagement: Engage effectively with IT, analytics, finance and business teams to gather inputs, clarify requirements and communicate findings. - Complex organisational navigation: Operate proactively and solution-oriented in ambiguous, evolving processes and with incomplete documentation; bring clarity and structure to complex situations. - Develop and maintain dashboar...
