Je komt terecht binnen een internationale organisatie actief in supply chain, waar finance nauw verweven is met de dagelijkse business. De internationale en operationele context zorgt voor een brede scope en veel interactie met verschillende afdelingen en stakeholders.

In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de Finance Manager en het management. Je combineert rapportering, forecasting en afsluiting met business controlling en ad-hoc analyses, waardoor je zowel de financiële betrouwbaarheid bewaakt als actief bijdraagt aan toekomstige beslissingen.

Business/Financial Controller - Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je stelt budgetten en forecasts op voor de toegewezen organisatieonderdelen en bewaakt de evolutie ten opzichte van de vooropgestelde doelstellingen.
  • Je analyseert financiële en operationele resultaten en identificeert afwijkingen, risico's en opportuniteiten.
  • Je ondersteunt de maand- en jaarafsluiting, inclusief reconciliaties en interne controles.
  • Je volgt dagelijkse en wekelijkse cijfers op en waakt mee over de financiële integriteit en kwaliteit van de rapportering.
  • Je analyseert de P&L en vertaalt financiële inzichten naar concrete aanbevelingen voor het management.
  • Je voert ad-hoc analyses uit ter ondersteuning van strategische en operationele beslissingen.

Business/Financial Controller - Profiel:

  • Je beschikt over een diploma in Finance, Economie, Accountancy of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Je hebt een sterke financiële basis en beschikt over een goede kennis van boekhoudkundige principes.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en weet financiële data te vertalen naar bruikbare inzichten en aanbevelingen.
  • Je hebt een sterk oog voor detail, maar kan tegelijk conceptueel en businessgericht denken.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van Excel; ervaring met SAP is een plus.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels.
