Wat ga je doen? Als BI engineer speel je een sleutelrol in het beheren en optimaliseren van de data-architectuur van onze klant. Je staat in de frontlinie bij het vertalen van ruwe gegevens naar waardevolle bedrijfsinzichten. Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:

  • Het migreren van het bestaande datawarehouse naar de Microsoft Fabric-omgeving.
  • Het onderhouden en verder ontwikkelen van geavanceerde datamodellen binnen Fabric.
  • Het stroomlijnen en integreren van datastromen uit diverse applicaties binnen het IT-landschap.
  • Het bieden van ondersteuning bij het opstellen van rapportages en datagedreven inzichten voor verschillende afdelingen.
  • Het actief meewerken aan de realisatie van een gloednieuw, centraal rapporteringsportaal.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in development, informatica, business management (met data-specialisatie) of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Cruciale vereiste: Voor deze rol is een sterke kennis van Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, dataflows, notebooks, etc.) en Python absoluut essentieel. Dit zijn dé kerntechnologieën binnen de functie en vormen het hart van je dagelijkse werkzaamheden.
  • Daarnaast heb je een vlotte beheersing van programmeertalen zoals SQL en ben je bekend met Microsoft Foundry.
  • Je hebt ervaring met datavisualisatietools zoals Power BI en/of Tableau.
  • Je beschikt over een diepgaand begrip van datawarehousing, ETL-processen (Extract, Transform, Load) en dimensioneel modelleren.
  • Je hebt een analytische mindset, denkt in oplossingen en werkt uiterst nauwkeurig.
  • Je bent een teamplayer die ook perfect zelfstandig projecten kan trekken.
