HCS realiseert een omzet van circa € 180 miljoen en telt ongeveer 700 medewerkers, aangevuld met een flexibele schil van circa 100 professionals. De organisatie levert geïntegreerde oplossingen voor glasvezel- en datanetwerken en ondersteunt klanten bij ontwerp, aanleg en onderhoud van kritische infrastructuur. Binnen HCS speelt de business unit Projecten een belangrijke rol in grootschalige en technisch complexe projecten. De ambitie is om de komende jaren verder te groeien en de nummer 1 system integrator voor bedrijfskritische connectiviteit van de vitale infrastructuur in Nederland te worden. Doelstelling De Business Unit Manager brengt meer structuur, voorspelbaarheid en grip in de projectenorganisatie. De focus ligt op verdere professionalisering, betere projectbeheersing, heldere managementinformatie en het verbinden van teams tot één geïntegreerde en resultaatgerichte projectenunit. De functie Als Business Unit Manager Projecten ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor een business unit met circa 120 directe en indirecte medewerkers en een omzet van circa € 35 miljoen, met een groeipad naar € 60 tot € 65 miljoen. Je rapporteert aan Divisiedirecteur Jan Lenstra en maakt deel uit van het managementteam. In deze rol geef je leiding aan projectleiders, uitvoerders en ondersteunende functies en werk je nauw samen met onder meer Finance, HR, commerciële functies en de andere Unit Managers. Je opereert als ondernemer binnen de kaders van de groep en bent verantwoordelijk voor resultaat, mensen en operatie. Daarbij creëer je grip op projecten, versterk je projectcontrol en rapportages en draag je actief bij aan verdere groei en uniformiteit in werkwijzen. ...
