Voor de volgende fase zoeken we een Business Unit Manager Transport die verder kijkt dan de operatie van vandaag. Een ervaren leider die visie ontwikkelt, keuzes durft te maken en vervolgens ook zorgt dat plannen daadwerkelijk worden uitgevoerd. Koninklijke Oosterberg groeit. Autonoom én door acquisities. Daarmee groeit ook de omvang en complexiteit van de logistieke organisatie. Transport speelt daarin een cruciale rol: dagelijks worden vanuit circa 22 vestigingen ongeveer 2.500 stops verzorgd met een combinatie van eigen vervoer, externe transportpartners en 3PL-activiteiten.

Wat ga je doen? Als Business Unit Manager Transport geef je richting aan de verdere ontwikkeling van Transport binnen Koninklijke Oosterberg. Je ontwikkelt een 3- tot 5-jarig transportplan en vertaalt dit naar een toekomstbestendige landelijke structuur. Daarbij kijk je naar de inrichting van hubs, de samenwerking tussen centraal transport en de vestigingen en de optimale verhouding tussen eigen vervoer en externe transportpartners. Je brengt meer grip op kosten, kwaliteit en capaciteit en zorgt voor verdere verbetering van leverbetrouwbaarheid, efficiency en voertuigbenutting. Tegelijkertijd werk je aan de verdere digitalisering van Transport, met onder meer TMS, dynamische routeplanning, data en forecasting als belangrijke instrumenten. Ook verduurzaming en elektrificatie van het wagenpark maken deel uit van je opdracht. Naast strategie en performance ligt er een duidelijke leiderschapsopgave. Je bouwt aan één volwaardig transportteam, creëert duidelijkheid in rollen en verantwoordelijkheden en stimuleert eigenaarschap en een resultaatgerichte feedbackcul
