Als Chauffeur Afvalinzameling start je jouw werkdag vanuit Grootegast. Samen met de beladers zorg je ervoor dat afval in de regio veilig en efficiënt wordt ingezameld. Je bestuurt een moderne vrachtwagen en volgt een vaste route. Daarbij houd je rekening met verkeerssituaties, bewoners en de veiligheid van jouw collega's. Deze functie is meer dan alleen rijden. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een veilige uitvoering van de werkzaamheden en houdt overzicht tijdens de hele route. Krijg je te maken met druk verkeer, een volle wagen of een storing? Dan weet jij hoe je moet handelen en houd je contact met de planning. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit:

• Besturen van de inzamelwagen volgens de geplande route • Toezien op veiligheid tijdens het inzamelen van afval • Samenwerken met beladers tijdens de dagelijkse werkzaamheden • Contact onderhouden met de planning over bijzonderheden • Melden van storingen, schades en onveilige situatiesJe komt terecht in een betrokken team waar collega's elkaar helpen en samen zorgen voor een goed resultaat. De sfeer is nuchter, praktisch en collegiaal.

Functie-eisen: Voor deze functie zoeken wij een ervaren vrachtwagenchauffeur die veilig werkt en zorgvuldig omgaat met materiaal, collega's en de omgeving. Je vindt het prettig om samen te werken en bent representatief richting inwoners en andere weggebruikers. Je beschikt over:

• Een geldig rijbewijs C • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als vrachtwagenchauffeur • Ervaring met rijden in woonwijken en binnen bebouwde kommen • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal voor veiligheid en overleg • Zorgvuldige omgang met voertuigen en materieel
