Wil jij werken bij een toonaangevende marktleider? In de regio Gent groeide een gespecialiseerd metaalverwerkend bedrijf uit van een eenmanszaak in een garage tot een gevestigde speler met twee professionele ateliers. Wat begon met enkele conventionele freesmachines, werd naarmate de jaren vorderden een expert in grote mechanische constructies en verspaning. Sinds de jaren 2000 is er een vestiging in Roeselare en in 2010 kwam daar een tweede, grotere site bij in Moeskroen, specifiek uitgerust om grotere lasconstructies te realiseren.

Met een gemotiveerd team van een vijftiental medewerkers, en klanten die technische tekeningen aanleveren, ligt de focus volledig op hoogwaardige uitvoering, meertalige samenwerking en voortdurende verbetering.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Berekenen van technische tekeningen en stelt kostprijscalculaties op voor de afdeling verspaning en CNC
  • Je stuurt het team van lassers en frezers aan en geeft duidelijke instructies inzake werkvoorbereiding en kwaliteitscontrole
  • Je controleert de offertes en opvolging van de prijzen tijdens en na uitvoering om rendabiliteit te waarborgen
  • Binnen je rol werk je nauw samen met het management (zaakvoerders) om procesverbeteringen door te voeren en rapporteert resultaten aan hen
  • Je zorgt voor communicatie en afstemming naar jouw team toe (lassers & frezers)
  • Bachelor of technisch gelijkwaardig diploma (metaaltechniek of mechanica) is vereist
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen de metaalsector
  • Kennis van calculatie‑ en kostprijsberekeningsprogramma’s + ervaring met CNC/verspaningstechnologie is noodzakelijk
  • Talenkennis: vloeiend in Frans, Nederlands én Engels; goede communicatieve vaardigheden om een meertalig team aan te sturen
