Ook wel genoemd CAPEX Project Lead, Mechanical Project Lead of Projectleider Werktuigbouwkunde. In deze opdracht pak je technische CAPEX-projecten op binnen een bestaande productieomgeving in de procesindustrie. Juist de bestaande situatie, productielijnen en processen maken de projecten technisch en organisatorisch complex. Je bent vanaf de eerste fase betrokken. Je helpt de scope bepalen, maakt een eerste voorcalculatie en brengt in kaart welke engineering, mensen en externe partijen nodig zijn. Daarmee lever je de technische en financiële onderbouwing voor de CAPEX-budgetaanvraag. Na goedkeuring verschuift je aandacht richting engineering en uitvoering. Je benadert onderaannemers, schat engineeringuren in en zorgt voor de juiste bemensing. Tijdens de engineeringsfase begeleid je engineers vanuit verschillende disciplines en bewaak je of technische keuzes binnen scope, planning en budget blijven. In de realisatiefase begeleid je de uitvoering mede en stem je af met interne stakeholders zoals productie, technisch onderhoud en breder in de organisatie voor commitment voor je projecten. Daarbij moet je voldoende technische bagage hebben om gesprekken te voeren over werktuigbouwkundige installaties en utilities. Denk aan pompen en systemen voor warmte en koude, ketels etc.: je hoeft niet zelf het detailontwerp te maken, maar je moet begrijp...
