The posting

NMBS, dat is met de glimlach mensen verbinden en hen nieuwe bestemmingen helpen ontdekken. Op de meest groene manier. Dat is reusachtige machines van 100 ton en 5000 kW besturen en onderhouden. De toekomst van mobiliteit inschatten en uittekenen. Stations bouwen waar mensen elkaar ontmoeten, werken en op weg naar huis nog snel even winkelen. Onderweg. Naar de toekomst van mobiliteit.

Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als carrossier zorg jij er mee voor dat de reizigerstreinen er piekfijn uitzien. Je hebt daarmee een grote impact op de reizigers. Een comfortabele reis begint al op het perron: een mooi afgewerkte trein het station zien binnenrijden pleziert iedere reiziger.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS?

Als carrossier sta je in voor verschillende werkzaamheden binnen de afdeling van de onderdelen voor oppervlaktebehandeling:

  • Je staat in voor een mooie afwerking van de onderdelen voor treinen door deze voor te bereiden: schuren, plamuren en perfect uit te kleven.
  • Ook zal je ingezet worden bij het korrelstralen/metalliseren van onderdelen
  • De onderdelen voorzien van natlak of poedercoating.
  • Indien nodig ben je bereid om mee te helpen aan de voorbereiding/afwerking van de treinen zelf.

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou?

  • Je beschikt over een getuigschrift van de tweede graad beroepsonderwijs (studiegebied ‘auto' (georiënteerd naar carrosserie) of ‘bouw' (georiënteerd naar (industrieel) schilderen)) of je hebt een gelijkwaardigheidsattest.
  • Of je hebt minstens 2 jaar relevante werkervaring als carrossier of industrieel schilder.

Daarnaast:

  • Je vindt het fijn om met een team in een ploegensysteem (6u-14u en 14u-22u) te werken.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met industriële schildering en hebt ervaring als schilder/carrossier in een industriële omgeving.
  • Je hebt een goede technische feeling waardoor je ook uitdagendere opdrachten kunt uitvoeren.
  • Je streeft altijd naar een kwalitatief hoogstaand resultaat.
  • Je houdt je werkplek ordelijk en veilig en volgt de veiligheidsvoorschriften strikt op.
