Heb je ervaring met het samenstellen en ontwikkelen van assortimenten en ben je gewend om zelf verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor marge, omloopsnelheid en voorraad? Dan zoeken wij jou als Category Buyer. Wat doet een Category Buyer? Als Category Buyer ben je commercieel verantwoordelijk voor je eigen productcategorie binnen ons Brand & Private Label (BPL)-assortiment. Dit is nadrukkelijk geen operationele inkoopfunctie waarin je voornamelijk bestaande producten bestelt. Jij bepaalt mede welke producten we inkopen en ontwikkelen, tegen welke voorwaarden en met welk commercieel resultaat. Je combineert productkennis en marktgevoel met commerciële slagkracht en analytisch inzicht. Je onderhandelt met leveranciers, volgt ontwikkelingen binnen beauty en personal care en vertaalt trends, consumentenvraag en concurrentie naar concrete assortimentskeuzes. Je wordt daarbij onder andere gestuurd op marge, omloopsnelheid en voorraad. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met onder andere Product Development, Purchase, Item Management, Sales, Finance, Legal en Brandmanagement om producten succesvol in de markt te zetten. Deze functie past bij jou als… …je niet alleen goed kunt inkopen, maar vooral enthousiast wordt van de vraag: welke producten moeten wij straks in ons assortiment hebben en hoe zorgen we dat die commercieel succesvol zijn? Je kent de wereld van beauty en personal care, hebt gevoel voor producten en trends en bent gewend zelf verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor de prestaties van jouw categorie.
