Met ons assortiment van 10.000 accessoires en snacks bieden we onze klanten in meer dan 65 landen alles aan voor een complete dierenwinkel of -afdeling. Category Manager Aankoop

Als Category Manager ga je op zoek naar producten die het beste halen uit de unieke band tussen huisdieren en hun baasjes. Je selecteert en beheert de gepaste producten binnen je toegewezen segment en volgens de behoeften van het bedrijf en de markt.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je maakt een analyse van het toegewezen assortiment alsook van de markt.
  • Je hebt een neus voor het spotten van trends en houdt hier rekening mee bij de selectie van producten.
  • Je weet te onderhandelen met leveranciers en bewaakt de overeengekomen condities.
  • Je onderhoudt en haalt het beste uit relaties met je leveranciers zodat jij als eerste nieuwe producten te zien krijgt.
  • Je gaat op zoek naar nieuwe leveranciers op de internationale markt.
  • Je bezoekt relevante beurzen, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
  • Je bent zowel intern als extern het aanspreek- en verbindingspunt voor jouw toegewezen assortiment.
  • Je werkt samen met de afdelingen Packaging, die de verpakking van de producten opmaakt, de afdeling Master Data, die alle nodige info in het systeem zet, en de afdeling Replenishment, die de door jou geselecteerde producten bestelt bij onze leveranciers.

Jouw profiel

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een economische richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Van nature ben je een hands-on onderhandelaar en analytische denker.
  • Je toont affiniteit voor de huisdieren markt en bent bereid om je hier grondig in te verdiepen.
  • Levenslang leren? Dat zie je wel zitten. Jij bent namelijk een leergierig persoon.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en kan verschillende taken samen beheersen.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Heb je ervaring binnen de Aziatische markt? Dat vinden we een pluspunt.
  • Je bent bereid om 2 maal per jaar te reizen naar China en 1 maal per jaar een beurs te bezoeken in Europa (DE of IT).
