The posting

Voor een organisatie met een uitgebreide dataomgeving zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Freelance ETL Specialist om het bestaande data team te versterken.

Je komt terecht in een multidisciplinair Agile/Scrum-team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het end-to-end ontwikkelen en beheren van data-oplossingen. De focus ligt voornamelijk op het ontsluiten en transformeren van data binnen een Enterprise Data Warehouse en het verder verwerken hiervan naar dimensionele modellen en datamarts.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als ETL Specialist sta je in voor het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van data pipelines en ETL/ELT-processen.

Je werkt onder andere aan:

  • Het binnenbrengen van data in een Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Het ontwikkelen en configureren van data pipelines
  • Het vullen van Data Vault en Business Vault volgens de Data Vault 2.0-standaard
  • Het transformeren van data naar dimensionele modellen
  • Het integreren van data in datamarts
  • Het uitwerken van fysieke datamodellen op basis van logische datamodellen
  • Het ontwikkelen van ETL/ELT-processen met verschillende tools
  • Het schrijven en uitvoeren van testen
  • Het uitvoeren van code reviews
  • Het analyseren en oplossen van bugs
  • Meewerken aan releases en deployments
  • Bijdragen aan backlog refinements en sprintplanningen
  • Ondersteunen bij analyses en het uitwerken van technische oplossingen

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's met verschillende expertises, waaronder functionele analisten, developers en testers.

Binnen de omgeving wordt gewerkt met onder andere:

Ervaring met alle bovenstaande technologieën is niet noodzakelijk. Een sterke ETL/Datawarehouse-achtergrond en relevante ervaring met gelijkaardige technologieën zijn belangrijker.

Je bent een ervaren ETL/Data Engineer die zich thuis voelt in complexe Datawarehouse-omgevingen.

Je beschikt over:

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring met het ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van ETL/ELT-dataflows of datapipelines richting dimensionele datamodellen
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring met ETL/ELT-development binnen datawarehousing en analytics
  • Sterke kennis van SQL
  • Ervaring met ETL/ELT-tools
  • Ervaring met dimensionele modellering
  • Ervaring met 3nv
  • Ervaring met het uitwerken van fysieke datamodellen op basis van logische datamodellen
  • Ervaring met werken binnen een Agile/Scrum-omgeving
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands
  • Een goede mondelinge kennis van het Engels
