Voor een langetermijnopdracht zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Freelance Big Data Engineer.

Je komt terecht in een technisch uitdagende dataomgeving waar je verantwoordelijk bent voor het realiseren, integreren en optimaliseren van grootschalige datastromen. Je werkt nauw samen met data scientists en vertaalt complexe analytische vraagstukken naar concrete, performante technische oplossingen.

🔎 jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van data pipelines
  • Uitvoeren van data cleansing, preparation & integration
  • Werken met large-scale data processing en Spark ETL
  • Data wrangling, joining en aggregatie
  • Verzorgen van component orchestration
  • Meewerken aan realtime architecturen en API-integraties
  • Samenwerken met data scientists om analytische modellen te vertalen naar technische oplossingen
  • Problemen binnen dataverwerking en orchestratie analyseren en oplossen

🛠️ Jouw technische expertise

We zoeken een freelancer met ervaring binnen een moderne Big Data-omgeving en kennis van onder andere

  • Hadoop, PIG & HIVE
  • Spark / PySpark
  • Kafka & Confluent
  • Apache Airflow
  • Python
  • Java / JavaScript
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • API development
  • Database-technologieën zoals Oracle, NoSQL, Graph en MongoDB
  • GIT en CI/CD
  • Realtime architecturen

Ervaring met cloudomgevingen zoals AWS of Azure, AWS S3, data monitoring & quality, MLOps/Llmops en front-end development zijn mooie extra troeven.

Locatie: Brussel

Onsite: 1 dag per week
