The posting

Voor een grootschalig industrieel project in de Antwerpse haven zijn wij op zoek naar een Chauffeur CE. In deze afwisselende functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig vervoeren van materialen, machines en onderdelen op en rond de werf. Daarnaast steek je ook graag de handen uit de mouwen bij het laden, lossen en correct zekeren van de lading.

Je werkt nauw samen met riggers, kraanmachinisten, supervisors en andere collega's om ervoor te zorgen dat alle transporten veilig, efficiënt en volgens planning verlopen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je vervoert materialen, gereedschappen, kraanonderdelen en ander materieel op en rond de projectsite
  • Je bestuurt vrachtwagens op een veilige en efficiënte manier binnen een industriële werkomgeving
  • Je helpt mee met het laden en lossen van de vrachtwagen wanneer nodig
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte ladingzekering met spanbanden, kettingen en ander bevestigingsmateriaal
  • Je controleert vóór elk transport of de lading veilig en correct is bevestigd
  • Je ondersteunt collega's op de werf wanneer er tijdelijk geen transportopdrachten zijn
  • Je houdt jouw vrachtwagen en het gebruikte materiaal netjes en in goede staat

Kort samengevat: je zorgt voor een veilig en vlot transport van materialen en ondersteunt mee de dagelijkse werkzaamheden op een uitdagende industriële projectsite.

We zoeken geen perfect profiel, maar vooral een gemotiveerde chauffeur met verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en een hands-on mentaliteit.

Herken jij jezelf hierin?

  • Je hebt ervaring als Chauffeur CE, bij voorkeur binnen de bouw, industrie, logistiek of zwaar transport
  • Je hebt kennis van het veilig laden, lossen en zekeren van ladingen
  • Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs CE en een geldige Code 95
  • Je begrijpt dat veiligheid steeds de hoogste prioriteit heeft
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Engels zodat een goede samenwerking op de werf gegarandeerd blijft
