Onze klant is gespecialiseerd in het oplossen van logistieke uitdagingen waar anderen geen oplossing voor vinden. Of het nu gaat om een groot machineonderdeel, een doosje speciale schroeven of een medisch hulpmiddel: de zorgvuldige en tijdige levering ligt in handen van hun chauffeurs.

Voor deze functie zoeken wij een chauffeur met een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je startuur varieert dagelijks tussen 05.00 en 08.00 uur. Je ontvangt je planning de avond voordien via sms.
  • Het tijdstip waarop je klaar bent, ligt niet vast. Nieuwe opdrachten komen gedurende de dag binnen en worden zo efficiënt mogelijk ingepland.
  • Je rijdt door heel de Benelux, of verder met leveringen naar onder andere ziekenhuizen, fabrieken en bedrijven in steden zoals Rotterdam, Amsterdam en Brussel.
  • Je vervoert steeds één lading per rit (dedicated transport): van punt A rechtstreeks naar punt B.
  • Het kan gebeuren dat je na een levering in bijvoorbeeld Düsseldorf eerst nog via Amsterdam en Antwerpen rijdt voordat je naar huis terugkeert.
  • Soms voer je uitsluitend nationale ritten uit. Dit zijn doorgaans kortere trajecten, maar steeds volgens hetzelfde principe.
  • Je maakt veel kilometers, maar bent in principe elk weekend thuis.
  • De meeste opdrachten zijn dagritten. Overnachtingen in de vrachtwagen zijn mogelijk mits overleg.

Flexibiliteit en werk-privébalans

De dispatcher probeert, waar mogelijk en mits tijdige communicatie, rekening te houden met je privéplanning. Toch blijft een flexibele instelling essentieel in deze functie.

Standplaats

Je voertuig vertrekt en eindigt op de vestiging in Duffel. Daarom is het noodzakelijk dat je beschikt over eigen vervoer om de basis te bereiken.

  • Zelfstandigheid Kennis Europees wegennet
  • Kennis Nederlandse taal of goed Engelstalig.
