Op het laatste moment horen dat je toch nog een extra rit moet doen? 's Avonds nog zoeken naar een vrije plaats op een overvolle snelwegparking? Bij VL Trans, het zusterbedrijf van G. Van Landschoot & Zonen uit Adegem, weet je dat 9 weken op voorhand: wanneer je vertrekt, waar je overnacht en wat dat oplevert.

Je vertrekt vanuit onze site in Adegem en rijdt voornamelijk richting Duitsland met gekoelde vleesproducten. Je bent telkens één nacht onderweg en de volgende dag ben je alweer terug, geen volledige week van huis dus.

Je eigen vrachtwagen

Geen wisselende trekkers en geen rommel van een vorige chauffeur: je krijgt je eigen vrachtwagen toegewezen, een Scania, Volvo of DAF, goed onderhouden en steeds in orde. Voor jou is dat je vaste werkplek, elke dag opnieuw zoals je hem achterlaat.

Jouw dag als chauffeur CE

Voor vertrek laad je je vrachtwagen volgens de laadinstructies en zorg je dat alles correct vastgemaakt is. Onderweg houd je de temperatuur van je koelwagen in het oog. Bij de klant sta je zelf in voor het lossen, met een transpalet het palletgoed binnen in de frigo’s plaatsen en de hangende goederen via schuifhaken naar binnen. Je neemt eventuele retourgoederen mee en je houdt de transportdocumenten correct bij: laden en lossen hoort dus echt bij deze job, het is geen job waarbij je enkel achter het stuur zit.

Een voordeel onderweg: bij onze klanten zijn er geen wachttijden, en je nachtrust neem je niet zomaar op een snelwegparking, maar op de parking bij de klant. Je kan ook gebruik maken van de sociale voorzieningen bij de klant. Terug op de firma reken je nog zo'n 1 à 1,5 uur voor het lossen van leeggoed en het wassen en tanken van je vrachtwagen.

Hoe ziet je planning eruit?

Voor de ritten naar Duitsland werken we met een vast schema over 9 weken. Zo weet je lang op voorhand wanneer je vertrekt, wanneer je overnacht en wanneer je recupereert. Je vertrekt de ene dag en bent de volgende dag terug; afhankelijk van de week wisselen deze ritten af met recuperatiedagen.

We willen hier duidelijk over zijn: internationaal rijden betekent langere dagen en regelmatig een nacht van huis. Daartegenover staat een planning die je lang op voorhand kent, correcte vergoedingen, recuperatie en je eigen vrachtwagen.

Dit breng je mee

  • Een geldig rijbewijs CE en code 95
  • Bereidheid om internationale ritten met overnachting te doen, volgens het 9-wekenschema
  • Je spreekt Nederlands of Engels en werkt veilig, zelfstandig en verantwoordelijk

Ervaring met koeltransport of voedingsproducten is een plus, maar geen vereiste. Zorgvuldigheid met lading en vrachtwagen, en aandacht voor kwaliteit, hygiëne en voedselveiligheid vinden we belangrijker
