Als chauffeur-operator van een grondzuigwagen zorg je ervoor dat ondergrondse leidingen en kabels veilig worden vrijgemaakt zonder risico op beschadiging. In plaats van traditionele graafmachines werk je met een krachtige vacuüminstallatie waarmee je grond, zand, slib en water gecontroleerd verwijdert.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor zowel het besturen van het voertuig als het bedienen van de installatie op de werf. Je komt terecht op uiteenlopende locaties, van bouwplaatsen en infrastructuurwerken tot industriële sites in en rond de Antwerpse haven. Dankzij jouw nauwkeurige aanpak kunnen nutsleidingen en andere ondergrondse voorzieningen veilig worden blootgelegd, zelfs op plaatsen waar klassieke graafmachines moeilijk of niet kunnen werken.

Naast het werk op de werf draag je ook zorg voor de machine. Je voert controles uit, signaleert eventuele technische problemen en werkt samen met de technische dienst om het voertuig en de installatie in topconditie te houden. Zo ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor een veilige, efficiënte en betrouwbare werking van het materieel.

  • Bedienen en controleren van de moderne grondzuigwagen met precisie en veiligheid
  • Ondergrondse leidingen veilig en nauwkeurig blootleggen zonder beschadiging
  • Zand, grond, water en bagger opzuigen op wegenbouwprojecten, openbare werken en industriële sites
  • Werken op moeilijk bereikbare plaatsen waar klassieke machines niet geschikt zijn
  • Samenwerken met de technische dienst voor onderhoud, inspecties en schoonmaak van de machine
  • Werken volgens strikte veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen op alle bouwlocaties
  • Flexibel inzetbaar zijn op verschillende projecten in de Haven van Antwerpen en omgeving
