Werk jij mee aan een Schone Kempen?

Als chauffeur/ophaler haal je afval op in de Kempense straten. Zo zorg je elke dag mee voor een schone, nette en leefbare Kempen waar mensen graag wonen.

Je zit niet stil: je bent veel onderweg met je ploeg, wisselt rijden af met ophalen en steekt de handen uit de mouwen.

Hoe ziet je job eruit?

  • Je bent chauffeur-ophaler. Dat betekent dat je rijden afwisselt met ophalen: je staat regelmatig achter de ophaalwagen, stapt op en af de treeplank, loopt mee en helpt met het heffen en laden van zakken en containers. Zo blijf je de hele dag in beweging en werk je actief mee.
  • Je haalt vooral PMD en papier op. Dat zijn stevige rondes: je legt gemiddeld zo’n 60 kilometer af en per PMD-ronde haal je meer dan 1000 zakken op. Papier haal je op in grote rolcontainers. Extra aangeboden karton laad je zonder problemen mee in de ophaalwagen.
  • Rijden met een ophaalwagen is niet zomaar rijden met een vrachtwagen. Je krijgt voldoende uitdaging, denk maar aan:Manoeuvreren in letterlijk alle Kempense straten: van smalle steegjes en drukke wegen tot rustige woonwijken. Je route volgen via een GPS-systeem. Zorgen voor de veiligheid van jezelf, je collega-ophalers en de omgeving. Zorgen voor de orde en netheid van de ophaalwagen.
  • Je werkt in een ploeg met een collega-ophaler en een collega-chauffeur. Je helpt elkaar tijdens de ronde en springt ook bij bij andere ploegen als dat nodig is.
  • Je bent een vroege vogel en start je werkdag tussen 6u en 7u, tijdens de zomermaanden een beetje vroeger.
  • Vertrekken doe je vanuit de ophaaldienst in Beerse.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een rijbewijs C of CE (containerwagen) met vakbekwaamheid. Is je code 95 niet meer geldig? Dan bekijken we wat er mogelijk is.
  • Je hebt minimum één jaar rijervaring met een vrachtwagen. Pas je rijbewijs behaald? Dan kom je in aanmerking als je ervaring hebt in de afvalsector.
  • Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands.
  • Je werkt graag samen en helpt collega’s waar nodig. Je vindt het hierbij belangrijk dat je op een open en eerlijke manier met elkaar kan omgaan.
  • Je bent een verantwoordelijk iemand die het belangrijk vindt om veilig te werken.
