The posting

Functie

Voor onze klant te Mechelen zoeken we een Chauffeur C en/of CE met ervaring in containertransport via haaksysteem. Je vertrekt elke dag vanuit Mechelen en zorgt voor een vlotte, veilige en correcte levering en ophaling van containers bij klanten.

Je takenpakket bestaat o.a. uit:

  • Je werkdag start tussen 06:30 en 07:00; einde meestal rond 16:00 à 17:00
  • Transport, plaatsen en ophalen van containers (gemiddeld 10–15 containers/dag)
  • Laden en lossen, inclusief afdekken van afvalladingen en werken met kipper
  • Leveringen en ophalingen op verschillende locaties, o.a. breekwerven
  • Correcte administratieve afhandeling en klantvriendelijk contact op locatie
  • Veilig en nauwkeurig werken volgens de geldende transport- en veiligheidsregels

Binnen deze rol krijg je veel zelfstandigheid op de baan, met een duidelijk dagritme en de kans om je verder te ontwikkelen in container- en werftransport.

Profiel

Je bent iemand die verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor voertuig, lading en klantrelatie. Je werkt graag praktisch, denkt vooruit en blijft rustig in drukke situaties op werven of bij leveringen.

We zoeken bij voorkeur iemand met:

  • Rijbewijs C of CE en een eerste ervaring
  • Geldige Code 95, bestuurderskaart en medische schifting
  • Ervaring met containertransport en specifiek met een haaksysteem
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands (veiligheid, instructies en klantencontact)
  • Een nauwkeurige werkstijl: veilig manoeuvreren, correct plaatsen, lading correct afdekken
  • Klantvriendelijkheid, flexibiliteit en een echte “hands-on” mentaliteit

Deze functie is hoofdzakelijk on-site onderweg, met vertrek en terugkeer vanuit Mechelen.
